What's So Great About Petz Dogz 2?

My 9 year old daughter received Petz Dogz 2 and began playing immediately. She had a great time playing all the way through the game.
Petz Dogz 2 combines the fun of virtual pet ownership with an adventure game on the Wii.
While playing the game, my daughter did a lot of different tasks, such as collecting insects, catching fish, passing out cookies to neighbors and other goal-oriented tasks.
Along the way a very bad dog named Ivlet destroys the town. The ultimate goal is to defeat Ivlet and win the game. However, defeating Ivlet can be very hard.
Beating Ivlet is possible! You are on a large round disc with little green-blue spheres that are protection fields against Ivlet. There are also rocks strewn around the disc. The rocks can be picked up and thrown at Ivlet. After throwing the rock and successfully hitting Ivlet, you have to bark at Ivlet to shock him and have him lose one heart.
To hit him five times, run towards the center of the disc. Pick up a rock on the way. Get into the center safety sphere. Then, while safe in the center, use the plus key to twirl the camera around and find out where Ivlet is at. Ivlet will be circling a small space or shield. run towards Ivlet and as soon as he jumps toward you, throw the rock at him.
If you hit him, go bark at him and then get another rock. If you don't hit him, run quickly for another rock and head for the center sphere of safety. You may want to place the guidance bone towards the bottom left or right of your screen to get your dog to the safety sphere quickly.
Once you are in the safety sphere, twirl the camera around with the plus key and repeat the procedure of throwing the rock.
Be ready for a surprise and a movie when you beat Ivlet.
The most fun my daughter had with Petz Dogz 2 was fishing. When fishing, throw out the bobber and watch until you see a Wii remote going up and down next to the bobber. When that happens, pull the Wii remote like you were pulling up a fishing pole. Do it faster or slower depending on the meter on the bottom. If you keep the meter in the middle, you will catch the fish!
